The Journey from Idea to Family Brand

BEES of BRITAIN began in 2018 as my A-Level college project.
BEES of BRITAIN began in 2018 as a college project when I was just 17. Inspired by a childhood spent in the Hampshire countryside and a fascination with beekeeping that started in my school’s honey production club, I set out to create a brand with a purpose.
Following my graduation from University, I have moved into a full-time role within the business, leading the curation of our digital assets and social media to better share our mission with a global audience. While my family continues to support our day-to-day operations, I am dedicated to evolving how we communicate the importance of pollinator protection in the digital age.
Our Mission: Protecting Pollinators.
Looking after bees is more important than ever. We are proud supporters of the British Beekeepers Association, to whom we donate 5% of our annual profits to help fund real-world solutions for pollinator decline.
Ethical Sourcing & Natural Origin
We prioritize high-quality ingredients of natural origin, selecting vegetable and flower oils that bees love to encourage the planting of bee-friendly cultivars.
-
Traceability: We work with ethical, artisan beekeepers and suppliers who provide full provenance for every batch.
-
Integrity: We strictly avoid ingredients from the IUCN Red List of threatened species. Any palm-derived ingredients are always RSPO-certified as Responsibly Sourced.
-
Purity: We formulate without synthetic colours, dyes, fragrances, parabens, or phthalates.
Thoughtful, Circular Packaging
Thoughtful, Circular Packaging We actively contribute to a circular economy by keeping our packaging to a minimum—avoiding unnecessary boxes and leaflets.
-
Materials: We use 100% recyclable aluminium, glass, and high-percentage PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) PET.
-
Lowering Emissions: By choosing lightweight materials like PET, we reduce the energy required for transportation, lowering our overall carbon footprint.
-
Protection: Any outer packaging required for hygiene is made of recyclable LDPE.
